Mike Goldberg, Chief Engineer and Producer
Mike sharpened his sonic vision by working both sides of the booth during 30 years in studios, first as a musician, then as an engineer and producer. Through 3 decades on the drums, playing guitar and working his way up the recording ranks, first at the renowned House of Music in West Orange, NJ, and then at the tri-state’s finest studios, Mike honed his skills working alongside some of the most talented producers, engineers and musician’s in the industry. The same skills and passion applies to his work on voice-overs, sound design, broadcast TV and radio ads, TV shows, indie films and more.
Just ask those who’ve worked with him.

All projects bring unique challenges. My job is to help you navigate the minefield and produce something great from just an idea.
It’s About the Sound
Our chief engineer said it, but this attitude drives everyone you’ll meet at IMP Studios.
It’s one of the reasons that since 1995, we’ve been recording some of the most recognizable names in rock, gospel and most any genre you can download. And the same care that crafts our major releases goes into the music of local artists stepping into a studio for the first time.
But it goes beyond music. Our voice-over clients create content for TV and radio shows and commercials, documentaries, indie films and Web projects, and we support sound-design projects with original music, extensive sound FX and well-stocked music libraries.
Your work is our passion.
